So I had run out of ideas for a blog tonight – I know only 2 days into the whole blogging shenanigans and I’m out of ideas already. Call it a case of writer’s block.
But then I was out having dinner with a friend and I spotted this in the restaurant we were in and it was almost like it was a sign….
It’s a very famous line from a very famous poem by Edgar Allan Poe entitled ‘Annabel Lee’. By far not his best poem in my eyes but still good nonetheless and this line in particular resonates with a lot of poets and people alike.
I would say his most famous poem by far is obviously ‘The Raven’ and we may even have this on our literary-themed cocktail list for Poemdemonium!
